Some of the activities this week included a visit by first and second classes to Little Wood Forest outside Slane led by Dr Niamh Roche, a talk on steam engines to fifth and sixth by a grandparent Jim Reilly, a lesson on animal welfare ( with the help of a kitten !) by Sinéad Kavanagh, a display by fifth and sixth of their projects and models which will form part of their entries for the Science Award and much more!

The children had to wrap up !

Buildings around the world were studied.

 And ones closer to home!

The younger children enjoyed the projects.

So did Mr. Hoey!

Luka and his bridges.

Senior Infants studied water: floating and capacity and "Push and Pull" as part of engineering week.

Fourth class examined electricity.
