We recently held our annual Art & Drama week co ordinated by Ms Lynch and Ms McGinty. They helped to bring out the artistic flare in all of us.
Our theme this year was 'Our Beautiful Sea'. Through this theme we highlighted to the detrimental effect plastic has in our oceans and seas and on our marine life.
We looked at how the 8 millions tons our plastic which is dumped into the oceans and seas each year affects humans and what can we do to stop this behaviour?
Our pupils collected plastic containers from their lunch boxes and from home and made amazing 'Junk Art' projects to help to highlight the issue.
